Synopsis
Malcolm is an angry 26 year old who lives on the fringes of society. While desperately straddling the blurred lines of sanity, Malcolm receives a self-help tape in the mail from an unusual organisation called MetaVision. Soon, Malcolm finds himself slowly deconstructing his own identity as well as the societal constructs around him, as the tape might offer more than just harmless advice.

Jai Love is an emerging filmmaker from Sydney, Australia. Jai began making short films with his friends from an early age, with an interest in the darker aspects of human behaviour. Jai interned for Tommy Lee Jones on the 2014 feature film The Homesman, before returning to Australia to study at the Australian Film Television and Radio School. During this time, Jai realised his interest in both documentary and in California's punk music scenes, resulting in Dead Hands Dig Deep (2016) working with lifelong friend Spencer T. Heath. MetaVision is their first short film together and a dive headfirst into experimental narrative.
