Synopsis
A night watchman is sent to guard the cellar of a museum by its mysterious curator, but once alone in these vaults he starts to hear something. IN EXTREMIS is a short in the mould of classic British horror films of the 1960s and 70s.

Gregory Crosbie has been making films since his youth and has worked as a pop video director in London. As well as attending film-schools in Denmark and the UK, he has also received training in performance direction at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He has several feature projects at developed stages and hopes to be in production with one of these soon. The intention with 'In Extremis' was to make a film in the tone of classic horror literature – to emulate the inexplicable ghost stories of M. R. James and the gothic dread of Edgar Allan Poe. The film is imbued with a sense of impending doom, concordant with the true meaning of its title: “point of deathâ€. It was made to demonstrate a facility with the horror genre while telling a good yarn. Read less
