Synopsis
Liberty was yesterday. Food shortages during a pandemic force recently widowed George to stray far from home to survive. A simple purchase of rations derails when George stumbles upon a Shopkeeper's secret, placing all of them in mortal jeopardy.

Jason Kempnich has always been drawn to making films. As a child, he would gaze for hours at the Super 8 film cameras in a local camera shop, but the urge to create film manifested in high school, where Jason produced several films with friends over summer breaks. Upon leaving school, Jason volunteered at a local television station, before the harsh reality of the industry was made obvious when the firm "downsized", retrenching half of the staff. Resolving that television wasn't for him, Jason completed a Degree in Information Technology at Griffith University, Australia ... and also completed several short films with friends he had made in the Film & Television faculty. Jason left University and proceeded to work in Information Technology for a few years before realising something was missing: film. With no formal education in filmmaking, Jason formed Yarnmaker and directed "Unfinished Business" (2006) (5 awards, 14 official selections), followed by "Unrepentant" (2010) (4 awards, 13 official selections).
