Hailing from Florida, Tristan Chandra is a filmmaker whose films are defined by memorable and sleazy characters that live within the bounds of traditional genre settings, but whose stories are told by subverting those very genres.

Chandra is a dedicated champion of celluloid filmmaking, with all of his shorts being shot on film, including his latest effort 'Red Tops,' which was shot in New Orleans on 16mm.
