Shrayek Kapil is an Indian-American writer and director. His journey into filmmaking began with making sketches and short films involving self-taught VFX. He completed his BA from in Film and Journalism from Pune, India, before moving to LA for his MFA in Directing at the AFI Conservatory. Kapil loves comedy, fantasy and science fiction and wants to work in both animation and live action. He aspires to blend humor with themes of empathy and compassion in his work.
