Like most filmmakers, someone showed me Jaws when I was 7, and now here I am making silly old genre films. With Trial 22, our main goal was to make an all-practical-effects monster film, and build a grimy world akin to that of Nu Metal horror films of the early 2000s. In a weird sense, it's a bit of a throwback film. A throwback film that hopefully elicits dark humoured chuckles and tension in equal measure. Let the trials begin...
