Mario Furloni is a Brazilian filmmaker based in the US. His feature debut FREELAND (USA, 2021) premiered at SXSW and won several awards in the festival circuit. Furloni’s naturalistic camerawork can be seen in several recent films, including the Oscar nominated documentary CRIP CAMP (USA 2020). He is a founding member of the Brazilian Filmmakers Collective. Together, the Furloni Brothers have made several acclaimed shorts. They are currently working on their first joint feature.
