Harrison Houde and Dakota Daulby: Co-Directors of "Adjoining" Harrison Houde and Dakota Daulby bring a compelling synergy to their roles as co-directors on "Adjoining,". Harrison, known for comedic acting in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" and "Some Assembly Required," has recently focused on visual storytelling with shorts like "I Dare You" (Telefilm Canada NSOT Cannes 2016) and "Cafe Racer" (Beverly Hills Film Festival, Tokyo International Short, Leo Award Winner and Tokyo Film Award Winner). Dakota, an acclaimed actor. His short film debut “Vance” receiving international distribution through Gun Powder and Sky’s short horror platform ALTER, leading to his feature film option through Kin Productions. With a collection of acclaimed acting roles on "Shogun", "Mayans MC," "Billy The Kid," and “Longlegs”, Daulby is an impressive multi-hyphenate. Harrison and Dakota's collaboration dates back nearly a decade to their first short film, with Harrison directing and Dakota starring. This summer, Houde directs his feature film debut (co-writing with Dakota) in Quebec with Vital Productions, starring Dakota Daulby. Adjoining marks their first time co-directing despite many years of co-producing. Passionate about exploring voyeurism and obsession, they blend Harrison’s visual and music acumen with Dakota’s performance-driven approach, aiming to craft a film that is both visually striking and emotionally profound. --- Dakota and Harrison are currently in-development on a feature film based on their fantasy-drama short "Vance" with Kin Productions (Michael Hirst) and are in talks with a large studio for the feature-length version of Cafe Racer. They hope "Adjoining" will showcase their talent as co-directors and co-writers, paving the way for their psychological thriller feature length scripts to secure financing and new production partners.
