TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY SUBMISSION

SCREENPLAYS
Feature film script length should be at least 75 pages and not over 130.  Short screenplays are not accepted. The extended deadline for scripts is June 15, 2026.  All scripts must be accompanied with a paragraph synopsis and uploaded in a pdf format online.  You may enter your log-line or paragraph synopsis on the online submission form.  
Finalists will be notified in October 2026 via our website and email. Please check the front page of the website for the finalist of the current festival in October.  The winning screen will be announced at the Awards Ceremony during the festival. 
Entry fees are non refundable, and may be paid in the form of Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover or money order paid in US dollars, only through a US affiliated bank using Paypal. A $2.00 processing fee will be added to all credit card payments.
 

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT
I, the undersigned, represent and warrant that I have full legal right and authority to submit the heretofore mentioned screenplay for authority to submit the heretofore mentioned screenplay for consideration by Screamfest, and that all necessary consents, licensing and approvals have been obtained with respect thereto. I agree to hold Screamfest and its sponsors harmless in any and all matters pertaining to the consents, licenses, and approvals of heretofore screenplay. I understand that my submission is in no way a guarantee of acceptance into Screamfest. No one from Screamfest or its sponsors has guaranteed me admission into the festival. I, the undersigned, have read t he terms and conditions appearing herein, and agree, without exception, to all the terms and conditions stated.
