Dan Gitsham is a UK Based filmaker who began film making at university where he studied media production. He has directed a range of short films which have screened worldwide. His 2009 short The Sack won the Midnight Movie Award at the 7th London ShortFilm Festival in 2010. He recently completed work on the UK Film Council funded Ella. A disturbing short starring Anthony Head (Buffy, Merlin) & Lisa Backwell (Skins), it tells the story of a father struggling to deal with the terrible events that have destroyed his family. Selected as one of Screen International's 2010 Stars of Tomorrow. He is developing new short films and feature length scripts. He has a great passion for horror cinema, absurdity and colliding genres. Read less
