Cristian Beteta (Barcelona, Spain, 02/20/1992). His final degree project was the feature “Themesis”, film in distribution and that has been screened in festivals in Mexico, Canada and Spain. He studied a Master’s Degree at ESCAC Film School in 2022, where he directed and produced the short films “Until Forever” and “Imaginarium” (2021), which were selected at festivals like Sitges Film Festival, Cortogenia, New Directors New Film Festival, Lille, Zaragoza, Elche among others. His Master’s Degree final project, the short film “Help Me” (2022), has also had a great run in festivals and was a candidate for the Gaudí Awards. “My Zone” is his fourth short film as a director.
