About the Director

Preston DeFrancis
Growing up, Preston was famous in his hometown of Wheeling, West Virginia for hosting movie marathons in his parents’ basement. It was therefore only natural for him to move to Los Angeles to earn his MFA from USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. He has worked in television writing, most notably on QUARRY for Cinemax and MANHUNT: UNABOMBER for Discovery. He hopes that his feature directorial debut RUIN ME will someday be watched in parents’ basements everywhere.
