His company, Steve Boyle Studios has created the FX for films such as Daybreakers, Predestination, Jungle, Guardians Of The Tomb, and most recently Winchester. Steve has continued his love for Filmmaking by moving into writing and Directing. His previous film MULLET GUT premiered in Screamfest in 2013. AVULSION is his second short to screen at the festival and allows him to combine his love of writing, directing and Special FX. He is currently prepping his directorial debut, THE OPPRESSION.

Giordano Giulivi
Giordano Giulivi is born in Rome (Italy). From 1998 he works as editor for the Italy's national public broadcasting company. He is a film director and screenwriter, active in the production of independent videos and movies from 1990. His first feature film, “Apollo 54”, a sci-fi comedy, won the Spirit Award and the Best Editing Award at the 2008 Brooklyn Film Festival and it was in competition at the 2008 Seattle International Film Festival. The second feature film, “The Laplace’s Demon”, completed after seven years of work, is inspired by some classic American thrillers.

About the Director

Tyler MacIntyreTyler MacIntyre is a Los Angeles-based writer and director. Originally from Canada, Tyler began his professional career as an film editor, relocating to the U.S. to attend the American Film Institute where he graduated with a MFA in 2010. Since then he has been mentored by industry legends including Peter Bogdanovich and Roger Corman, which helped shape his passion for crafting genre films with a unique voice. Tyler’s feature debut, the horror-comedy PATCHWORK won awards at film festivals around the world and is available through The Orchard. His follow-up feature TRAGEDY GIRLS premiered at SXSW in 2017 and will be released theatrically through Gunpowder & Sky in October.
